Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team in Media and Creative Industries Department. The responsibilities of the Audio Visual Technician include transporting equipment, setting up cameras, lighting, and video equipment, editing and copying videotapes, and ordering inventory. AV Technician will be mainly assisting faculties who teach lab courses in the Studio such as tv broadcast and video production courses. This job requires working closely with the students in conducting their video shooting tasks either in campus or outside. The applicant should have experience transporting, assembling, operating, and repairing equipment used for multimedia production. Skills such as creativity, flexibility, good communication and teamwork skills are highly required.

Minimum Qualification

A Bachelors degree in Audio Visual Technology or a related field. In-depth working knowledge of camera and lighting techniques. Strong working knowledge of audiovisual editing equipment and software. Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualification

Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic/English Physical fitness to transport and set up heavy equipment.
