Associate or Full Professor - Breast Oncology/Senior Position
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of medical oncology with a focus on breast cancer and will be expected to see patients in the Rena Rowan Breast Cancer Center. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students. The sucessful candidates will have clinical teaching experience in the area of breast cancer. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
Clinical responsibilities may include focusing on patients with breast cancer. Participation in clinical trials is an important part of this role.
There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
