Description
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include developing an outpatient cardiovascular medicine practice at Pennsylvania Hospital as well as providing inpatient cardiology services and reading non-invasive imaging studies. Selected candidates will have the ability to develop a more specialized outpatient practice if desired, such as preventive cardiology or women's cardiovascular health.
