Salary Level: Classification Level A (Salary range A$69,451 to A$94,041 gross per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions)

The School of Law and Criminology is currently seeking an Associate Lecturer, Law to positively contribute to the teaching, learning, graduate and research outcomes within the University community.

Selection Criteria:

1. Completed or currently enrolled in doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing.
2. Effectiveness as a teacher including the capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula and contribute to relevant areas of teaching including Torts, Equity and Trust, and /or Property Law.
3. Research experience and potential including for example: refereed publications, participation in research teams and sound knowledge of research methodologies relevant to the discipline/field.
4. Membership of and sound connections with relevant professional bodies and community groups and/or in professional practice.
5. Strong personal qualities and collegial approaches that contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive academic environment which is conducive to engagement and achievement for both staff and students.
6. The desire to participate in academic development activities and continue to learn and improve as an effective academic.
