Job Description Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Evaluation & Research, the Data Management Assistant will manage data using different tools, systems and statistical software packages and submit summary reports to staff as needed, supervise a student team, and monitor data entry in a central database. The job will also entail other administrative responsibilities and participation in regular meetings.
Job Description
The Data Management Assistant will be required to coordinate the day-to-day operations for data collection and data entry across several Netter Center programs. Under the direction of the Director of Evaluation & Research, the Data Management Assistant will manage data using different tools, systems and statistical software packages and submit summary reports to staff as needed, supervise a student team, and monitor data entry in a central database. The job will also entail other administrative responsibilities and participation in regular meetings. This is a regular part time position.
Core Duties:
- Oversee attendance/enrollment data management
- Meetings with Netter Center Staff & Evaluation Team Students
- Database Activity Setup & Data Entry (enrollment and attendance)
- Conduct Data Audits and provide feedback to Netter Center Staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED Required, with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience working with education programs, data cleaning, and project management. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Able to work 28 hrs/wk, starting immediately. The ideal candidate is someone with data management experience, knowledge of quantitative research methodologies, supervisory/leadership experience and someone with extreme attention to detail. We are seeking someone who is highly flexible and able to work independently while supervising a small team of student workers. Knowledge of Excel required. Familiarity with Qualtrics, RedCap and the CitySpan data management system is a plus. Must have regular consistent access to the Internet and a computer.
