Job Description
The Lab of Dr. Sunil Singhal is seeking a Research Specialist A. The translational research lab is currently focused on immunotherapy and molecular imaging of lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mesothelioma. The research specialist is expected to participate in and perform experiments, data analysis and data presentation under the direct supervision of a senior lab staff. The Research Specialist A will be involved in tissue acquisition and processing of human and mouse samples. Other duties include but are not limited to managing molecular imaging equipment, maintaining cell lines, primary cell culturing, performing flow cytometry, western blots, ELISA, DNA, and RNA isolation, keeping inventory and ordering supplies. This position requires work with mouse models, like husbandry, i.v, i.p, s.c injection and tissue harvesting. Prior mouse experience preferred, but not required.
Position is contingent upon funding.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies
