Nanyang Business School is looking for someone who is task-oriented, has excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility in responding to fluid situations, as well as the ability to work independently. The Project Officer will be part of a dynamic team of researchers conducting research on multidisciplinary studies, financial reporting quality, disclosure and transparency, organizational and personnel economics, and neuroeconomics.

Job Description

  • Designing and managing data-collection
  • Conducting literature review and data analyses
  • Writing reports
  • Assisting in financial planning and monitoring project expenditure
  • Performing other ad hoc administrative duties to support the research project

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a background of computer science
  • High degree of responsibility and maturity
  • Excellent command of writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Stata, SAS, etc.)
  • Ability to parse data from websites
  • Good statistical knowledge and data analytic skills

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
