Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Protein and Stem Cell Engineering Laboratory in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 502086), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics or a related discipline, with experience in protein science, cell fate control, and genomic sciences.  We look for a driven team player to join us in the development of novel methods for producing functional cells for regenerative medicine. Work will include protein engineering, the directed molecular evolution in mammalian cells, lineage as well as pluripotency reprogramming and the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells.  The aim of the research is to generate cells for regenerative medicine applications with the help of re-engineered biomolecules.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Ralf Jauch at ralf@hku.hk. A full publication list of Dr Ralf Jauch can be found at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=ralf+jauch.
