The Department of Anthropology at Princeton University may have occasional openings for lecturers to teach precepts for undergraduate courses during the 2020-2021 academic year. These courses may focus on areas of introduction to anthropology, visual anthropology, ethnography, and history of anthropology psychological anthropology. Serving in a preceptor capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollment, and positions may begin as early as the fall 2020 semester depending on the needs of the department.
Essential Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Anthropology
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred
