Assistant Professor - Neuro-oncology—CHOP
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical psychology/clinical neuropsychology. Specific focus on pediatric neuropsychology is preferred. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Neuropsychology Board Certification Eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include supervising trainees through the hospital’s Postdoctoral Training Program, the APA-accredited Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship program, as well as opportunities to work with psychology practicum students from area universities.
Clinical responsibilities may include clinical neuropsychological evaluations for Neurofibromatosis and Neuro-Oncology populations; contributing to the development and implementation of neuropsychological screening for patients who are moving off treatment and into survivorship; and development of targeted interventions for Neurofibromatosis and Neuro-Oncology populations.
