School of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a development framework for the new chip starting from existing development studios such as eclipse
  • Develop a data transfer script between a host machine to the target chip via JTAG interface
  • Develop user-friendly debugging capability with step-by-step tracing from the chip with an appealing user interface

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  • Knowledge in software engineering and development framework
  • Knowledge in software debugging environments such as gdb
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
  • Familiar with sending and receiving data to peripherals is an advantage

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
