With 130 staff and 2,500 students, the School of Strategy and Leadership is the largest of the four Schools in the Faculty and specialises in courses relating to business and management, at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. The School is also home to Coventry’s highly successful suite of MBA courses. Our contemporary offer is both large and complex, delivered through multiple modes and platforms with three entry points throughout the year.  The School and wider Faculty has a collaborative and supportive ethos which builds a strong community of academics and makes it a place where people want to work. 

Our new Head of School will provide strategic and academic leadership to further develop the teaching and learning, research and partnership activity. Reporting to, and working closely with, the Academic Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, our new Head will take ownership of the continued growth and development of the School across a wide and developing portfolio of activities. Candidates will bring experience of managing a relevant academic operation at scale as well as a strong track record in enhancing the student experience. As we continue to grow both externally and in collaboration across the University candidates must be adept at partnership working and recognise the power of a connected Faculty.
