The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of medical oncology with a focus on breast cancer and will be expected to see patients in the Rena Rowan Breast Cancer Center. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include nationally recognized excellence in the care of breast cancer patients with an emphasis on therapeutic clinical trials.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the ability to deliver high quality care implementation of breast oncology clinical pathways as well as participation in clinical trials. There is an expectation that clinical trial results will lead to scholarship. Successful candidates will be part of a growing clinical program.
