Description
The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an  Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent, such as D.O., M.B.B.S or M.B.B.Ch. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient work in general nephrology, transplantation or dialysis.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a body of work that demonstrates intellectual independence, co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows, students, and research staff, coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators, participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts, and a publication record in areas pertinent to this position.
