Description
The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of psychiatry research. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.
Responsibilities may include teaching at all levels of medical education, providing supervision as needed, providing clinical care, helping conduct studies of the presentation and treatment of psychiatric disorders, and other duties as assigned.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching, while developing a career in an academic setting.
