Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric neuroradiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. ABR and CAQ certified or equivalent.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows during readouts and conferences and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition, the candidate will prepare learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical coverage in the areas of Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), MEG (optional), and coverage of teleradiology services and coverage at the Specialty Centers when necessary. The candidate will also be assigned to in house coverage on evenings, nights and weekends.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include overseeing a large pediatric neuroradiology clinical research infrastructure and mentoring junior clinical researchers. It is expected that the candidate conducts impactful and innovative clinical neuroradiology research in a team and collaboration with different clinical subspecialties in particular pediatric neurology, neurosurgery and neuro-oncology. A further strong research collaboration with our pediatric neuroimaging basic science research group is encouraged and expected. The candidate will have an outstanding research track in pediatric neuroradiology and some evidence of grant-funding.

The applicant will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, research and education in pediatric neuroradiology. Candidate must have completed a radiology residency program, done a pediatric neuroradiology fellowship, and have substantial experience in pediatric neuroradiology. The successful candidate will be of renowned stature in the area of pediatric neuroradiology.

Prior leadership experience in a formal administrate role is preferred.
