Research Assistant/Research Fellow in Health Economics

Full-time, fixed term (48 months)
The Department of Health Sciences provides a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant research and teaching examining contemporary issues aligned with the College Research Centres and University Research Institutes.
This post is located in the Division of Global Public Health.
The Global Public Health Division and Health Economics Research Group (HERG) have an international reputation in public health research including ageing studies, health economics, health policy, health promotion, population wellbeing and behavioural science. Opportunities exist across the College and University to develop collaborations with clinical, allied-health and non-clinical experts.
The post holder will have an opportunity to advance existing collaboration through NIHR ARC Northwest London project, working closely with community health providers, local healthcare trusts, clinical commissioning groups, public health departments and other partners. You will be expected to lead or contribute to divisional research activities in health economics and public health.
You should have a first degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area. We are specifically looking to recruit individuals who would have relevant experience or be interested in economic modelling and evaluation.
