Description
The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical nephrology. Successful candidates will have specialized training and/or clinical experience in the care of patients with glomerular disease.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents and fellows. Applicants should be outstanding educators.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients on both inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Applicants must have an M.D. degree. ABIM certification in Nephrology is required.

The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
