The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in family education days.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding outpatient, inpatient and procedural care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and/or its satellites.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include augmenting basic, translational and/or clinical research initiatives in liver disease, motility, bile duct development, gastrointestinal allergies, nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease and microbiome research.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must be board certified in Pediatrics and/or Gastroenterology.

Candidates must have a reputation as an excellent clinician with evidence of academic scholarship.
