REGISTERED NURSE, MIT Medical, to provide nursing care to the patient population as part of the -Occupational, Environmental and Campus Health team. Through a combination of remote and onsite work, the initial focus will be on supporting telephone triage associated with the current COVID-19 environment. Will concurrently provide nursing to students, employees, faculty, and their families as it relates to occupational health, student health, sport medicine, and orthopedics
MIT Medical, an accredited ambulatory care center serving the health and wellness needs of the MIT community, conducts approximately 120,000-plus visits annually and is proud to continue a tradition of caring for the Institute community that spans more than a century. Its clinical offerings encompass more than twenty specialties, including dental, eye, adult primary care, pediatrics, mental health, obstetrics, and gynecology. It also provides occupational and employee health services, community wellness programs, and seven-day-a-week urgent care.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: graduation from an accredited nursing program; a current RN license in Massachusetts; CPR certification; at least years’ experience as a registered nurse in a pediatric, women’s health, or family medicine ambulatory clinic or private practice setting; fluency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner; and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
PREFERRED:experience in occupational health, higher education student health, and/or sport medicine. Job #18894-9
