The Yale Cancer Center and Section of Hematology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible hematologists at the Assistant Professor level with an interest in benign or non-malignant hematology. The Benign Hematology Program at Yale is a major referral center with expertise in the care of patients with numerous types of hematologic diseases, including thrombotic disorders, antiphospholipid syndrome, coagulation disorders, platelet disorders, anemia, porphyria, histiocytic diseases, and other rare conditions. The hematology section has a developing program in genomics of thrombosis and access to ample resources in next generation sequencing, immunobiology, laboratory medicine, and cancer biology. Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in hematology and have an interest in benign or nonmalignant hematologic diseases. 50% of the role will be spent in outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities and 50% in research, administrative endeavors, and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Applicants further along in their career may be considered for a faculty position commensurate with experience.
