About the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE)
The School of CEE is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment and plays an integral role in spearheading tertiary education, advancing research innovations and providing professional services in Civil, Environmental, and Maritime Study fields.
Job Descriptions:
- Participate in civil research program under supervision of school faculty, contributing to various research activities such as research experiments, literature survey, data collection/analysis, survey, mathematical modeling, report/documentation preparation, project administration, and outreach of research results.
- Assist in duties related to lab safety, lab inventory maintenance, and school administration
Projects include:
- Study of level of service for active mobility in Singapore
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field (preferably Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering)
- Basic understanding of the scientific and engineering principles
- Attention to details and procedures
- Effective communication and report writing skills
- Good team-working spirit

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
