The Faculty of Languages and Literatures invites applications for a

Full Professorship (W3) of Modern German Literature
with a focus on
20th century German Literature and Classical Modernism
(Chair)

commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should represent the entire field of modern German literature in teaching and research. They should have an outstanding academic record, a research focus on 20th century German-language literature and Classical Modernism, and an additional research focus in cultural theory/cultural studies.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
