The Faculty of Languages and Literatures invites applications for a

Full Professorship (W3) of Modern German Literature
with a focus on 18^th and 19^th century German Literature
(Chair)

commencing on April 1, 2021.

Applicants should represent the entire field of modern German literature in teaching and research. They should have an outstanding academic record, a research focus on 18th and 19th century German-language literature, and an additional research focus in cultural theory or cultural studies.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
