The candidate is expected to conduct research on communication networks, edge-intelligence, edge-assisted AI, and cooperative learning. Candidates with working knowledge of communication network, distributed systems, and applied machine learning are encouraged to apply for this post.
This researcher is part of a CELTIC-NEXT project, aiming to enable new class of applications, which live at the edge, creating truly smart cities and industries for the benefit of European citizens, e.g. improved transportation systems, healthcare and wellness support, factory and production plant optimization.
The candidate is expected to contribute to different planned work in the project and collaborate with industrial and other academic partners of the project. Successful candidate is also expected to work with master and PhD students in the research team at King’s, publish their research outcome in top-tier journals, and present their research in conferences, and the project-related events.
