Position Description    
The Office for Global and Community Health (OGCH) supports and coordinates Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s (HSDM) initiatives locally and around the world. We work with both faculty and students to promote public health dentistry, raise awareness, and alleviate disease burden through innovative student and faculty programs. 

Position Overview: 
OGCH is seeking a Research Fellow to collaborate with the team in the Initiative to Integrate Oral Health and Medicine and participating in research studies and demonstration projects that contribute to the evidence base for integration of medical and dental care, education and financing. These include investigating associations between oral health and: diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, Alzheimer’s disease and cancers of the oral cavity. In addition the fellow will participate in some classroom teaching.

This position has a term appointment of one year from the date of hire with the possibility for extension.

Basic Qualifications    
PhD or DMD required. Some prior research experience in public health preferred.
