Position Summary:

Under routine to general supervision, the Support Officer will assist and provide administrative support in relation to the Remote Primary Health Care Manuals Project. The position is required to assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the project including maintenance of systems, processes, files and databases. 

This position will also provide administrative support to relevant Committees, team members and supervisors by facilitating and coordinating Committee meetings and associated activities including drafting agendas, meeting minutes and correspondence as well as arranging appointments, travel and accommodation bookings, circulating documentation and other general administrative tasks.

Northern Territory Government legislation (the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007) now requires all individuals in child related employment or whose duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child, to hold a valid ‘Working with Children Clearance’ (Ochre Card). This position involves child related work and is assessed as requiring a Working with Children Clearance/Ochre Card.

A National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required by Flinders University before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
