Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 501827), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree or a doctoral degree by research in public health, biomedical sciences, microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, or a relevant discipline. They should be team players who have a strong sense of responsibility, curiosity for science, and independent thinking. Experience in molecular biology techniques and/or handling microbial pathogens at BSL2 laboratories would be an advantage. The appointee will work in the laboratory and in the field to study influenza transmission and pathogenesis. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. H.L.
