Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 501826), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in microbiology preferably in the area of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, with a license to work inside a BSL-3 laboratory.  The appointee will work on research projects related to Next Generation Sequencing for Mycobacterium tuberculosis under the supervision of Dr. W.C. Yam.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 499919) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
