Project Officer (SSNAP)
The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) is the single source of stroke data in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This role will involve coordinating the delivery of SSNAP. The project officer will oversee the smooth operation of the SSNAP Helpdesk, ensuring information is disseminated to hospital staff in a timely way. The role will involve manning the helpdesk at specific times each week, and proactively creating process documents and resources to create efficiencies in helpdesk activities.
The SSNAP project officer will work under the direction of the SSNAP Senior Operations officer/programme managers to ensure the complex clinical audit quarterly reporting cycle is adhered to. This will involve communicating important data deadlines to audit participants, following stringent data quality checks, identifying and escalating potentially important trends over time in results to management, and ensuring reports are effectively disseminated to audit participants on schedule.
The SSNAP project officer will be responsible for implementing effective strategic approaches to enhance the ease of use, functionality, and online reporting features of the SSNAP webtool.
The project officer will take part in enhancing the research potential of SSNAP by implementing tailored approaches for improving the quality of SSNAP data available for potential research projects.
