POLICY AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)-North America, to support J-PAL North America’s policy outreach activities, desk research, external relations, and fund-raising activities. Will support the executive director’s work with program partners, researchers, donors, and staff at J-PAL’s Global and regional offices; and the associate director of policy’s research projects, external presentations, media communications, grant proposals and policy briefs.  Will also support relationship management with J-PAL North America researchers and other key stakeholders.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, statistics, or a closely related field; training in statistics and quantitative methods; and two years of experience (may include experience gained through relevant internships, part-time work, research, or teaching assistantship) involving research, social policy or data analysis.
