Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is looking for a distinguished, innovative and dynamic scholar to lead the Faculty of Science.

The Role 

Reporting to the Provost, the Dean is expected to lead the strategic development of the Faculty of Science and work closely with the senior management in planning the strategic development and setting the overall direction of the University.

The Person 

The appointee should be a visionary leader and distinguished scholar with a proven successful track record of academic leadership in instigating changes and an ability to administer a large academic unit. Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills are necessary.

Appointment Terms:

The appointment will normally be made on a three-year term and it is renewable subject to review and mutual agreement. We offer an attractive remuneration package with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
