A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Social Sciences, NTU.

Job Responsibilities

  • Data analysis on the entire process from application to graduation to employment and building of alumni data base
  • Write reports on the findings and assist in the planning and marketing of the programme locally as well as overseas 
  • Support the career development/networking between current cohorts and alumni.
  • Provide assistance in the alumni activities and events locally and internationally
  • Assist in the marketing research for the MSc Applied Economics programme
  • Conduct general survey and other assignment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related degree
  • Good command of written/communication background in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking associates
  • Well-versed in MS Office (especially in Excel and its advanced functions)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
