The Division of Information Technology & Operation Management (ITOM) from the Nanyang Business School is seeking to fill a Research Fellow position for a project involving analysis of carbon pricing/control policies to address climate change.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review, scan and synthesize scholarly and academic research articles
  • Prepare research papers, and technical reports
  • Implement data collection as required
  • Analysis of computational experiments and other research experiments to generate managerial insights and findings
  • Provide support for overall project management

Job Requirements

  • PhD degree in Business, Operations, Technology Management or related discipline
  • Exemplary oral and written skills
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with fundamental IT skills
  • Ability to conduct research and write research papers independently
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple project deadlines
  • Experience in research and project management will have an advantage

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
