Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 500675), to commence as soon as possible for two years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree and proven experience in molecular genetics, next generation sequencing and animal model.  They should be outstanding and self-motivated researchers with a proven research track record in the area of molecular and cancer biology.  Experience in clinical studies and grant applications, particularly in collaboration grants with mainland China, is an advantage.  Fluency in English and Cantonese, and adequate proficiency in Putonghua are preferred.  The appointee is expected to work independently and be involved in various projects related to breast cancer biology.  He/She will assist in laboratory research activities and will have the opportunity to work with collaborating divisions/centres in HKU and in HKU-Shenzhen Hospital.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be directed to Professor Ava Kwong at avakwong@hku.hk.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 499972) need not re-apply.
