Overview
The position is funded under Defence Science Collaborative Research Grants. The successful applicant will contribute to the design and development of an approach that combines human and artificial intelligence in the search for novel strategies in an adversarial scenario and anomaly detection. The scope particularly includes (but is not restricted to) computational intelligence techniques integrated with simulation-based evaluation.
The Role
The School is looking for enthusiastic Post-doctoral Research Fellow who possesses knowledge and expertise in areas including:
- Computational Intelligence
- Visualisation
- Software Development
What you will do
The successful candidate/s are expected to work with the project team, which includes collaborators from industry, defence and academia to design, develop and evaluate a proof of concept prototype.
Skills & Experience
You must have a PhD in an appropriate field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) and expertise in one or more of the areas listed above will be an advantage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $89,524 to $100,643 PA plus 9.5% University superannuation.
