Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 501698), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Nutrition or a related discipline, preferably with experience in clinical trials and counseling.  They should have at least 3 years’ research experience and/or laboratory-based scientific investigations, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese) as well as excellent communication skills.  Applicants should also be self-motivated and familiar with qualitative research methods, and be able to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.  Preference will be given to those with research experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

The appointee will be responsible for project management, academic publications and reports preparation; conducting field work and follow-up; dietary education for patients; and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.  Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.
