Job Details
A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in executing a Tier 1 research project
- Organise meetings with interview subjects across the globe
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data for Tier 1 research project on media policy with a view to journal publication
- Actively contribute to preparation of manuscript drafts for peer-reviewed journals
- Handle operational, administrative and logistics duties related to the research project
- Undertake any additional project duties as required by the supervisor
Job Requirements
- PhD degree in media, communication or related social science discipline
- Experience in quantitative data analysis using relevant statistical tools (e.g. SPSS, AMOS) will be preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
