HP-NTU Digital Manufacturing Corporate Lab (HP@NTU) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the setting- up of dispenser and camera system
  • Use bioink to investigate droplet profile and factors affecting it
  • Work on researching the droplet impact of ultra-fine droplet
  • Carry out experiment to optimize the required fluid dispensing profile
  • Apply the knowledge to correlate the bioprinting performance and dispensing operation
  • Assist lab operation and safety
  • Support lab events
  • Produce research report and present on results
  • Present results during routine meeting

Job Requirements: 

  • Possess PhD in engineering or related disciplines
  • Experience in advanced laboratory methods involving droplet research
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork awareness
  • Good communication and writing in English
  • Strong responsibility for research or work

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
