This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to make a significant contribution to one of the world’s great research-intensive universities.

The University of Bristol is embarking on a journey of comprehensive improvement to our IT services, following the recent agreement of a multi-year Digital Strategy by the institution’s Board of Trustees.

The successful candidate will work closely with the University’s Chief Information Officer and other technical colleagues to scope and deliver a broad range of complex procurement projects.

The individual will  work as a full and senior member of the University’s Procurement Team, working to expand the proportion of influenceable spend that is directly impacted by procurement activity, and to contribute to identifying and delivering financial savings and improvements to Social Value across the University.

Fixed term contract until 3rd September 2021.

All applications must be submitted by the University’s standard application process.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 26th July 2020. If you would like an informal conversation, please contact Rob Logan, Director of Procurement, via rob.logan@bristol.ac.uk
