About the Job

We have a new opening for a Teaching Academic to join our Clinical Exercise Physiology team in UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance.

This position is primarily focussed on the delivery of teaching and associated administrative duties within the Academic Unit’s undergraduate and/or postgraduate program and the facilitation of student learning in a clinical setting.

Skills and Experience

Do you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a relevant discipline combined with current registration and accreditation, or eligibility for registration and accreditation, as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)? If so, apply now.

We are seeking an individual with clinical practice experience and leadership as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist including a high proportion of clinical exercise prescription activity in occupation rehabilitation and/or chronic disease management to provide teaching and supervision of Clinical Exercise Physiology students.

High level communication skills and the ability to engage and educate student groups along with a demonstrated capacity to provide discipline input to the Clinical Exercise Physiology curriculum including program accreditation and benchmarking processes is essential to be successful in securing this role.
