Applications are invited for the permanent post of Teaching Fellow in the Department of Psychology, School of Life Sciences and the Environment.
The post holder will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching. The role involves varied, independent teaching and administrative duties on the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.
There is a strong research environment, with the Department being ranked sixth in the UK in the 2014 REF for our world-leading and internationally excellent research. We consistently achieve high levels of student satisfaction in the NSS, with overall satisfaction levels typically over 90% (93% in 2019). There is a strong culture of support for teaching-focused academics within the Department, with regular training provided and opportunities to engage in scholarship and pedagogic research.
We are open to applications from candidates with expertise in all areas of psychology, but a background in applied areas such as clinical, forensic or health psychology would be an advantage.
