This position for a research fellow is funded through the FACET project and will be based at University of Greenwich, in Greenwich, London. FACET (Facilitate the Adoption of Circular Entrepreneurship in the Tourism and leisure sector) is funded by EU Interreg 2Seas and run from 1/1/ 2020 to 31/9/2022. FACET aims at increasing the adoption of circular solutions in the tourism sector by supporting entrepreneurs in shifting from linear to circular. You will join an international research project group with an extensive experience in entrepreneurship, sustainable transitions, green supply chain, and circular economy. You have an opportunity to gain international research experience by working on an EU Interreg project helping SMEs and tourism entrepreneurs to create significant social and environmental impacts.

You will contribute to project management, circular economy related policy analysis, research field work, including survey, focus group and interviews with entrepreneurs, research data management, data analysis. You would need to have, inter alia, good skills in project management, communication, interacting and interviewing skills with businesses, relevant basic research skills, and report writing. This post also requires some travelling in the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium. An additional foreign language skill, particularly Dutch and/or Flemish would be an added advantage.

The appointment is for a Research Fellow 1. Please demonstrate your achievements against the relevant criteria in the accompanying person specifications which will be used to make an appointment at an appropriate level.
