Applications are invited for appointment as Full-time/Fractional Senior Clinical Practitioner in Paediatric Dentistry (A) and Orthodontics (B) in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 500583) to commence in September 2020, on a two-year fixed-term basis.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or equivalent. For post A, applicants should have a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree or equivalent in Paediatric Dentistry. For post B, applicants should possess an MDS degree or equivalent in Orthodontics and be a member in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MOrth RCSEd) or equivalent.  The appointees should have amassed proven clinical competence which may be demonstrated by their significant and continuous contribution to an education programme, and other relevant experience to show positive evaluation by professional/academic peers of clinical competence and clinical training. 

The appointees will deliver clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students, provide clinical service and manage patients.  Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to Dr. Y. Yang at yangyanq@hku.hk

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
