Job Details
The Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore invites applicants for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
The research associates will be in charge of the development of the mobile platform and shared control algorithms for advanced human-robot interaction. Besides, the work will also involve the setting up of the test rig with conducting experiments.
Job Requirements:
- A master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, etc
- Background and past research experience in control engineering and advanced vehicles will be a plus
- Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision
- Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills
- Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
