Assistant Lecturer (holding the title of Senior Social Worker) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref. 500520) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

The appointee will work in the project on “Building Emotional Resilience in Hong Kong Families – Professional Capacity Building for Family Social Workers” under the Department of Social Work and Social Administration.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Social Work and related discipline, with at least five years’ post-qualification, preferably related to administration and family service, and they should be Registered Social Workers. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently and as a team.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating administrative activities and overseeing the progress and the implementation of the project, supervising all the staff in this project to implement the training and activities, writing the progress reports, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
