Practicum Coordinator (at the rank of Tutor) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500563) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D. degree, in public health or a related discipline. They should have solid experience in programme coordination and project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in managing community-level public health advocacy programmes, and/or undergraduate/postgraduate teaching will be highly desirable.
The appointee will assist in the practicum coordination for our flagship Master of Public Health (MPH) programme. He/She will identify practicum placement sites, coordinate placements, liaise with teachers and industry partners, monitor students’ progress, and provide academic assistance to students and academic supervisors. He/She will also provide support to other teaching and learning activities of the School as assigned.
