Job Description Summary

Within the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) in the Center for Cellular Therapies (CCI),  the Clinical Research Assistant, under general supervision will provide support for clinical trials coordinated within the CTU. General duties/responsibilities will include but is not limited to trafficking of study related research samples, pick-up and delivery of investigational products (e.g., T cells, vaccines) to patient care unit, preparation of study related research lab kits, obtaining study related documents (e.g., 1572, FCOI, CITI certs, etc.), assisting with filing of study related documents and maintenance of CTU trials master files (e.g., regulatory binder).

This position is contingent upon funding.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate research specimen collection and delivery
  • Deliver and thaw investigation research product at patient bedside 
  • Assist study teams with data entry and data query resolution.
  • Assist Regulatory staff with obtaining study related documents and with filing and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational and time management skills.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required, with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelors degree Preferred, with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
