Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (several posts) in Accounting in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 500539), to commence on July 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidates with more experience and qualifications may be considered for direct tenure subject to approval.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Accounting. Experienced candidates with outstanding teaching and research records are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience in teaching Master’s or MBA courses is desirable. Applicants for appointment as Professor/Associate Professor should have a proven record of internationally recognized scholarship and teaching. The appointees are expected to deliver quality teaching and be committed to high-quality scholarly research and services. Information about the Faculty can be obtained at http://www.fbe.hku.hk/. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
