Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the HKU-Pasteur Pole of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500421), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in immunology or virology, with an established level of laboratory experience and publication record. Experience in serological and cellular assay, small animal handling, and/or flow cytometry is highly preferred. Applicants should also have a good command of written and spoken English, a strong sense of responsibility, attention to details, and the ability to work independently. The appointee will carry out independent research projects on influenza virus and SARS-CoV-2 and perform any other duties as assigned.
